MARION: Went to be with the Lord on December 21, 2020 at the age of 91. Predeceased
by her son, Dick Murphy; son-in-law, Gerry Bailey; survived by children, John
(Sue Pindle) Murphy, Darlene Bailey, Bill (Robin) Murphy, Christine (Chuck) O’Neil;
6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, sisters, Doris (Dick) Bettridge, Carol (Pat) Sweeney;
several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Muriel was a life member of the Marion Fire Department and Northern Central Ladies
Auxiliary. She enjoyed being a foster grandparent for Roosevelt Children’s Center for
several years.
There will be no prior calling hours. Services will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marion Fire Department Ladies Aux.
