Obituary for William S. McKay Sr.
McKay, William S., Sr.
MARION: Entered into rest on December 19, 2018 at the age of 94. Bill is
predeceased by his wife, Catherine; brothers, Carl, John, and Charles;
sisters, Theresa Badura, and Betty Cummins. He is survived by his son,
Bill (Brenda) McKay; daughter, Paula (Ernest) Kittelberger; grandchildren,
Joshua, Cathryn, Tess, Kristen, and Matthew; 4 great grandchildren,
brother, Robert McKay; sisters, Alice (John) Mackrell, Mary Barnes;
several nieces, nephews, and friends. Bill was a WW II Veteran serving his
Country in the Air Force.

Upon returning to the Rochester area after the War, Bill worked for some trucking companies before settling on his 20+ year career with Star Market. He was a longtime active member of Teamsters Local 118. Bill was the consummate family man who was always willing to lend a helping hand to all who knew him. He especially loved spending time on the family farm in Marion.

Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service Sunday January 20,
1:00 PM in All Seasons Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Rd.,
Pittsford, NY 14534 with a reception to follow. Donations may be made in his
memory to the Veterans Outreach Center, 447 South Ave, Rochester, NY 14620.
