Obituary for Voorhees, Rev. Robert R., Jr.
Voorhees, Rev. Robert R., Jr. Marion: Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer on March 27, 2015, at the age of 67. He is predeceased by his parents, Robert & Doris Voorhees. He is survived by his loving wife of 5 years, Kimberley; children, Martha Moreno, Jason Voorhees, Jeremy (Katie) Voorhees, Rebeca (Eric) Wilson; 4 granddaughters and 8 grandsons; brother, David (Muriel) Voorhees; his sister, Carolyn Voorhees; several nieces & nephews; his beloved dog, Grace Ann; and several other family & friends too numerous to mention who were important to Bob's life. He will be dearly missed. Friends and family are invited to call Monday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Stevens Funeral Home, Marion, NY. The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, 11 AM at the Ontario Baptist Church, 1929 Ridge Rd., Ontario, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross, 123 W. Market St., Corning, NY 14830.
