Williamson / Newark: She was born January 25, 1921, and went home on Thursday, April 14, 2016. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Survived by her children Charlotte (Tom) Furfaro, Coni (Gerald) Petty, and George (Linda) Stevenson. Also survived by grandchildren Craig (Lori) Seabrooks and Sharon (Greg) Neece; Brian (Marcia) Petty and Lauren Notebart; Justin (Holly), Kristina, Christopher and Lee Stevenson; Valerie Coene, Thomas Furfaro Jr., and Deidra Lord. She also leaves thirteen great-grandchildren and seven (and 8/9ths!) great-great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Betty Hance and Mabel Carlin, nieces and nephews. Virginia was predeceased by her husband George Stevenson, Sr.; parents Samuel Ridgeway Hance and Nina Heath Hance; brothers Clint, Guy and Paul Hance; nephew Thomas Hance; grandson Todd Seabrooks.
A celebration of Virginia’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church, 301 South Main St., Newark, NY 14513. Arrangements by
