Sharyn L. Wheeler Mcgregor
NEWARK: Sharyn gained her wings on September 6, 2024 with her family by her side. She was welcomed into Heaven by her life’s love, Ronald Wheeler; daughter, Christine Warner; parents, Donald and June Kaufman; brothers, David and Richard Prosser; sister, Sandra Ridley; along with many friends. She leaves behind daughters, Melissa (Rick) Downey-Bigler, Denise (Jay) Smith; grandchildren, Amanda (George) Hibbs, Justin Warner, Cierra (Vlad) Markizov, David Downey, Ryan (Jessica) Downey, Adam Downey, Derek (Ellie) Van Cleef, Shelby Renee, Mitchell Smith, Nicholas (Susan Philips) Smith; many great-grands with a special bond with Emma, Madison, Audrey, and Demi; she also leaves behind her beloved dog, Riley.
Sharyn retired from FLDDSO where she worked for many years and also worked part-time at McDonald’s and Walmart. Her many interests included playing cards, camping, dancing, canning, crocheting, food/water fights at family dinners and just being with family. Sharyn touched the lives of many, and will be missed immensely.
There will be no prior calling hours, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Strong Memorial Hospital, attn: Kidney Transplant Dept., 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14642.
