Sandra Lynne Klug
MARION: On April 17, 2025, Sandra Lynne Klug passed away peacefully after a courageous battle against cancer. She is pre-deceased by her mother, Sharon Klug. Sandy will be missed by her loving family: daughter, Jamie (Peter) Jaenike; son, James Briggs, Jr.; father and step-mother, Herb & Leslie Klug; sister, Laura (Jamie) Smith, sister, Jennifer (Joell) Bassett; niece, Tiffany Brugge; nephews, Jason Brugge, Jonah Bassett, Dylan Bassett; grandchildren, Ella and Miles Jaenike.
Sandy was a woman who loved the Lord. She was kind and compassionate. The loves of her life were her children and grandchildren. Sandy enjoyed painting and photography. She loved studying God’s word and spending time with Him in prayer each day. Sandy was incredibly strong her whole life, and showed that strength until the end of her journey here. She is now in the loving arms of her Savior.
There will be no prior calling hours. A service for Sandy will be held at a later date. In her last weeks, Sandy was cared for by the loving and capable staff and volunteers at House of John in Clifton Springs. The family asks that any contributions in her memory be given to the House of John, 14 Spring St, Clifton Springs, NY 14432. Donations can also be made on their website houseofjohn.org.
