Obituary for Peter Alan Revard
Peter Alan Revard
MARION, NY was born Tuesday, February 13, 1945. He went home to be with his Lord
on Sunday, December 26, 2021 after losing his battle while in the hospital with covid.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Sandra Revard Jensen; his sons,
William F. (Wild Bill) Revard, Peter A. Revard Jr., and Shawn R. Dupre;. He is survived
by his loving wife of 49 years, Sharon (Billerbeck, Dupre) Revard; son, Michael W. (Kelly)
Dupre, grandsons, Christopher M. Dupre, Cory T. Dupre, William (Billy) Revard from Maryland,
Corey Revard from Florida; great-grandchildren, Jack T. Dupre, Nina and Ryot Revard from
Florida; brother, Gary Revard; nephew, Eric Revard; many cousins, Terri Zicari from Rochester/Florida, Reesa Boettner-Jackson from Maine; aunts, and uncles.

The family thought the world of Pete, especially Lisa Marie Whitney, Charles A. Billerbeck
Kevin Billerbeck, Bonnie Lee Repp from Florida, Robert (Robbie) Whitney from CA. Richard
(Rick) Whitney from CA. and David Whitney;.

Pete had many SPECIAL friends, some that were in the Marion Fire Dept. in which he served as secretary, treasurer, chief and became a lifetime member. He marched in full uniform in many
of the local Fire Dept. parades. He participated in the Fire Dept. games held at the Fire Dept.
carnivals where Good times were had by all.

Pete retired from Kodak, where he worked in the paper mill as a “maker” and then went to
Johnson & Johnson, to work in their blood analyzing dept.

He was a long time member of the Second Reformed Church of Marion, serving as a Deacon.

He worked for Young Explosives for many years setting up and shooting off fireworks at the
Fireman’s carnivals.

He needed to be busy. Pete loved everything he chose to be a part of. He loved his family
deeply and enjoyed their cottage on Lake of the Woods, loved to putter in his workshop and
garage, gather aluminum and scrap metal, help at the Alton Auction House, work with his best
buddy, Carl in the repair shop and assist his other buddy, Paul cutting down trees.

Pete was a faithful friend to many, he was a straight-shooter and traditionalist who grieved our
culture’s departure from the Christian Faith, thought and way of life.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is
laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me, but to all who have loved His appearing. II Timothy 4:7-8
