Obituary for Nevil, Edward (Bud) Lester
Edward (Bud) Lester Nevil Edward Nevil, 90, died Wednesday May 13 at home with his family by his side. Mr. Nevil was born on August 16, 1924 in Marion, the son of Lester and Katherine (Corcoran) Nevil. He was a Marion High School graduate and served in World War II as a Navy Seaman from 1943-46. Edward was predeceased by his wife Eleanor of 63 years, his parents, brother Robert and sister Ann. Edward is survived by sons Terry (Linda) and Larry (Donna); daughters Mary (Steve) Tack and Judy; six grandchildren Michael (Tracy) Nevil, Amy (Chris) Mudge, Cory (Tonya) Nevil, Joseph (Beth) Nevil, Jason (Amanda) Tack, and Andrew (Ashley) Tack; seven great-grandchildren, Madilyn and Tyler Mudge, Avery and Alexandra Nevil, Colten Nevil, Emily and Andrew Nevil, and Bristol and Luke Tack. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to FLHO Patient Assistance Fund, 2 Coulter Road, Suite 2615, Clifton Springs, NY 14432. Family and friends may call from 5-8 on Friday, May 15 at the Stevens Funeral Home, 3896 Buffalo Street, Marion. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 16 at St. Michael's Church in Newark with Father Felix officiating. A military burial will follow at the Marion Cemetery.
