Dekdebrun, John “Jack”
Marion: Entered into rest on December 27, 2018 at the age of 92. Predeceased
by first wife, Jacqueline; son, Darryl and 7 siblings. Survived by loving wife
of 25 years, Gerry; children, Gordon (Jenny), Rhonda Hares, and Ginger (Robert)
DeRoma; grandchildren, Chris (Becky), Chad (Jeanne), Zac, Gilly (Scott) Bacon,
Melissa, Cliff, Tyler (Susie) Hares, Jeremy Hares, Marisa and Erin DeRoma;
11 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews,
and friends.
Jack was a proud American Veteran and a combat WWII veteran. He retired after
35 years at American Can. Friends and family are invited to call Wednesday,
3pm - 6pm at the United Church of Marion, 3848 N.Main St., Marion, NY 14505
where the memorial service will be held 6pm Wednesday immediately following
calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Avon Rotary Lion’s Ambulance,
74 Genesee St., Avon, NY 14414 or VA Medical Center, Volunteering Services,
400 Fort Hill Ave., Canandaigua, NY 14424.
