John J. Recchia
PALMYRA: Went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2024 at the age of 90. He is predeceased by his wife, Madeline; daughter, Debra; daughter-in-law, Janine; brothers and sisters. Survived by his loving sons, Stephen (Sue), John M., and Joseph (Diane); grandchildren, Renee, Jeremy, Christina, Shana, Jesse, Stephanie, Ryann; 17 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great- grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
John was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and the Right to Life Committee. He loved boating, riding motorcycles, spreading the word of the gospel through Stephen’s Ministry, Hill Haven Nursing Home, Open door mission and OCFS Industries Residential Center.
Friends and family are invited to call Thursday, October 10th, 4PM - 7PM at Stevens Funeral Home, 3896 Buffalo St., Marion, NY 14505 where the funeral service will be held 7PM, immediately following calling hours. A committal service will be held Friday, 11AM at the Marion Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Drive, Marion, NY 14505. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory to Open Door Mission, 156 Plymouth Ave. #1834, Rochester, NY 14608. Online condolences may be expressed at stevensfhmarion.com
