Gary D. VanKouwenberg
PALMYRA: Entered into rest with his loving family by his side on November 8, 2024 at the age of 64. He is predeceased by his parents, Lester and Geraldine VanKouwenberg;. Survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Cyndi; children, Jacqueline Thorpe (Mark) Greutman, Stephenie Gibbs, Zachary (Courtney) Gibbs, Katherine (Derrick) Collins, Jonathan (Hannah Jang) VanKouwenberg; 15 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, sister, Sue VanKouwenberg; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
As a man of faith, Gary was stead fast in serving and leading his family. He imparted a Christlike love and wisdom to each of his 5 children. He fostered many friendships during his 26 year career with Motts and through his church family. Gary felt most at home on his tractor, chopping wood, and tending to his vegetable garden. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and making memories with his children and grandchildren.
