Cheney, David A.
MARION: Entered into rest on December 26, 2018 at the age of 55. He is predeceased
by his sister, Cindy; and brother, Donny. Survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Irene;
children, David L. (Nicole), Jen (Mike) Laski, and Justin Brown; granddaughters,
Emma and Sophia Cheney; parents, Watson (Joyce) Cheney; brother, Todd (Sonya) Cheney; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
David was a former employee of J.L. Hammett and School Specialty and currently
employed at Seneca Waterways. He is a member of Marion Ambulance and Fire
Department, Den Leader for Marion Cub Scouts Pack, and former Scout Master
of Troop 227, Lyons N.Y. He was an avid fan of Rochester Red Wings, and
Houston Astros.
Friends and family are invited to call Friday January 4, 4pm - 7pm at Stevens Funeral
Home, 3896 Buffalo St., Marion, NY 14505. A Celebration of Life will be held in the
spring. Donations may be made in memory to Seneca Waterways Council, 2320
