Layton, Beverly Jane (Higgins)
Sodus: Entered into rest on March 6, 2017 at the age of 88. She is predeceased
by her husband, Francis R. Layton; daughter, Suzanne Cady; sons, Paul A. and
Robert E. Layton. Survived by her children, Linda (Dennis) Michielson; Michael
(Karen) Layton; Roger (Monica) Layton; Gary T. Layton; and Nancy (Ken Huff)
James; 25 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grand child.
Beverly was born and raised in Binghamton, NY. She moved to the Rochester area
in 1975 and made her home in Marion. She was a member of the Marion Methodist
Church, she loved reading, music, traveling with her ladies group, and attending
Red Hat Society functions.
Memorial Service to be held Saturday April 8, 2PM at the First United Methodist Church,
Bay St., Sodus Point, NY 14555. Donations may be made in Beverly's memory
to the Wayne County Humane Society, 1475 County House Road, Lyons,
